Description: Hetero Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate, 300mg tablet is used to treat chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection in adults and pediatric patients 2 years and older. It is also used in combination with other antiretroviral agents for the treatment of HIV-1 infection in adults and pediatric patients 2 years and older. It works by interfering with the viral enzyme reverse transcriptase, which is needed for the virus to multiply.
